Whitebaiting Regulations

We all know the regulations have changed in the last few years — and unless you moonlight as a DOC ranger, it’s a lot to keep up with.

Not sure what size set net you’re allowed? Confused about how many metres of screen you can use before DOC appears from the bushes like a ninja? Don’t wing it — check the DOC website and stay legal.

Oh, and mark your calendars: Season runs from September 1st to October 30th — not the 31st!
